GPS & Mobile Field Data Collection is a practical short course designed to equip learners with the skills needed to collect, manage and prepare geographic field data using handheld GPS devices and smartphones. The course covers coordinate systems, waypoints, tracks, field forms, mobile mapping, data quality, field survey planning and transferring collected data into GIS software for mapping and analysis.
